What to put on a house removal advert
Published by Verified Vans Today
House moves fail on stairs, parking, and under-priced jobs. The advert has to show enough that a driver can decide before they message you.
## Pay for the whole job
One figure for the move, not an hourly guess. Drivers filter on a minimum for the whole job. A vague TBC advert will not match anyone.
## Collection and delivery postcodes
Put both postcodes on the public advert. Send the street address on WhatsApp only to the driver you choose. That keeps the public page useful for matching without publishing the full address.
## Time window
Say when the load must be collected. When that window ends with no hire, the advert expires and new Telegram alerts stop.
## Van size and photos
Medium or large for a flat. Luton or extra large when wardrobes and sofas have to stand upright. Add photos of stairs, narrow halls, garden access, and the bulk of the furniture. Drivers decide from the photos before they message you. You can add up to 15.
## After you publish
Matching drivers get one Telegram alert with WhatsApp and the advert. You agree helpers, packing, and the final price there. When you hire someone, mark the advert filled and record their profile so you can leave one review later.
Membership is £19 a month with unlimited open adverts. The first 14 days are free. We do not take a cut of the move.
## What we do not do
We do not quote a fixed removal price for you. We do not supply packing materials or storage. Put those needs in the WhatsApp thread after you choose someone.
## Matching reminder
Miles are straight-line from the driver’s base postcode for both collection and delivery. The delivery limit is not measured from the collection address. A Verified label means we reviewed licence and insurance photos. It is optional. Unverified drivers can still get alerts.
